LE QUARTIER FRANCAIS

FRANSCHHOEK, SOUTH AFRICA

Services: Interior Design by Beverley Boswell

A "fast track" project which took just eight weeks from start to finish,  Beverley Boswell Designs was recently tasked to refurbish this popular bar in Franschhoek.

While respecting the integrity of the original Cape Victorian building, the space conjures up a cool, welcoming, intimate and up-to date atmosphere where visitors can relax surrounded by contemporary fabrics and a blue colour palette inspired by the hues of Cape Dutch Delft. The result is a crisp, modern space with a sense of history.

THE BAR

Le Quartier Français's Cape Dutch-inspired bar is decorated in Delft blue and white. From the custom designed banquette seating to the art deco inspired oak and smoked mirrored bar and custom-made lights and raffia on the walls which add luxury and texture, the Bar reflects Beverley's signature style of textures and layering to create a luxurious, welcoming interior.

GUEST ROOMS

Le Quartier Français's guest rooms all sport the sophisticated details and exquisite fabrics for which Beverley Boswell is known. Comfortable French-country style has been given a contemporary spin with pops of subtle color, eye-catching art, raffia headboards, fun drinks cabinets, and customized furniture and lamps made by local artisans.
