Beverley studied in Cape Town before completing an internship with David Easton Inc in New York, whereupon she joined Studio Indigo Ltd in London - a multi-disciplinary practice of architects and interior designers focused on bespoke, premium residential projects around the globe.
In 2012 she set up her own practice and has a studio in Cape Town. She has worked on several high profile projects in the UK and is the interior designer for all the Leeu Collection’s properties in Franschoek, comprising Leeu Estates, a 20 room, luxurious boutique hotel and winery; Leeu House, an exclusive 14 room boutique hotel; Tuk Tuk Microbrewery and Marigold Restaurant.
Recent projects just completed are:
- The Bar at Le Quartier Français
- The refurbishment of Le Quartier Francais, a boutique hotel which is part of the Leeu Collection in Franschhoek
- La Petite Colombe restaurant in Franschhoek.
Her current project under the Leeu Collection’s umbrella is Linthwaite House, a boutique hotel in Windermere in the Lake District, England which is due for completion early next year.
Despite the demands of an exacting clientele, Beverley and her team maintain a down to earth and positive attitude, dealing with the many challenges of design and project management.
